19 Days Later and 780km later – in Santiago de Compostela

Wow, what a journey. For the last 19 days, I´ve been on the Camino de Frances, the 780km route from France´s St. Jean Pied de Port to Spain´s Santiago de Compostela. I´ve slept in hostels and bunk beds, weathered sunburn and snow, nursed blisters and aching calf muscles, met weird and wonderful people, and ran on some horribly flat tarmac and amazingly fun mountain trails. And today I finally arrived at my destination.

Very happy to be finally in Santiago de Compostela!

There´s so much to tell, to show, to explain. But for now I just want to let everyone know I´m safe and sound. And that I´m not done yet. I´m off to Finisterre tomorrow to run another 90km to the “End of the World” where Spain meets the Atlantic Ocean. And once I´ve reached the end, then I will tell the tale.
